So I've been such a slacker on Memory Lane Monday and Thankful Thursdays that I decided to combine them today and then hopefully get back on track here on out.
Memory Lane Monday
So this picture was probably taken only in 2004, but this is a great memory nontheless. Sarah, Katie and I had an inside joke that semester about putting chocolate in our teeth and then trying to hit on someone. Silly girls!
Thankful Thursday
I am thankful for my two closest friends, Sarah and Katie. Granted there have been moments in our lives when we haven't been as close as other times, but when we see each other, it's like those moments never existed. Together we have been through so much and have always been there for each other. We have been best friends for half our lives and therefore know each other almost inside-out. We could go on and on saying little phrases that only we would know (balloon animals, i just called to say banana..., etc) and crack up about! They've been great influences throughout my life and each bring something great and unique to our friendship!! I'm so thankful for their testimonies and examples that are a part of what brought me to where I am today.

As you can see...
...our blog isn't private. We went private for like 5 minutes after I said we'd change over. Then I found like 6 new people on Blogspot and I just found it difficult to try to get everyone's emails each time I found someone new. So there you go.... I'll just monitor the comments better. Thanks everyone who gave us your email addresses, and sorry if you got an invite in your email. I just found it easier this way. ^_^

Halloween Surprise
I surprised Tyler with a Halloween dinner Friday night. I had been planning the surprise for a while. I didn't have the time to make everything I bought. So there also wasn't time to decorate the table and room all spooky, like I had planned, before Tyler came home from work (I made him walk in the house with his eyes closed and go upstairs until I was done). I think it still turned out nice and Tyler had no clue what was going on!
I made some chips shaped as bats and ghosts to serve with my chili and cream cheese dip
Apparently they take only 30 seconds to bake! (The second batch turned out better)
Monster Toes....mmmm!
Pizza Mummies
I made some mini witch's brooms
Bug Juice
(that's a green iced hand in there...it didn't float so well)
Dirt Dessert
And a quick pic before Tyler comes down!

I'm in love...
with this song, by Sara Barielles, called Gravity. It's my favorite at the moment. Does anyone know where/if I can get this sheet music and print it for free?

We got a Wii
Christmas came early for us!
We decided we wanted a Wii for Christmas, so we started looking online for deals. Every place we looked was sold out, but we found a site where we could be put a waiting list. 3 weeks later it was our turn. We decided to jump on the opportunity and get the Wii because we figure the demand may increase as Christmas gets closer. And we got it in the mail last week!!
Our bundle came with 2 remotes, 2 nunchucks, a cradle to recharge our remotes, Wii Play, and Wii Sports. (Luckily, my brother's letting us borrow some games.)
We're having a blast!! I sure stink at most of the games and Tyler's a natural, but we're still having a blast!

Weather Report
The weather in Provo is crazy! Well, it was pretty nice today.... considering the last few days. What's the deal though? It obviously can't decide. I guess we'd better soak in the sun while we can. I heard it might snow on Tuesday... fun fun. (At least I'll get to start wearing all my cute jackets.) I thought this picture might help us better understand.

Shameless Plug
After popular demand for our homemade pizza recipe, (view post below) I decided to put it up on our other blog What's Cookin? Check it out. A bunch of friends and I share yummy recipes with each other. If you'd like to join in the fun, just let me know.

Can you say mmmm...?
So Tyler and I celebrate Taco Tuesday, where we make tacos for dinner every Tuesday. We love having that tradition, so we decided a month or so ago to also start the tradition of pizza once a week. (The day for this tradition hasn't been set in stone yet...)
We make homemade pizza!! Mmmmm. When I say we, I mean Tyler. Tyler makes homemade pizza and I help put toppings on and hand him oven mitts and stuff like that.
On our very first date, Tyler and I made pizza with the very same recipe we use every week. For some reason, the pizza on our first date didn't taste so well. We don't know why. (I think Tyler kinda feels like he has to make it up to me each time we make pizza.) No worries though because ever since, Tyler's pizza has tasted divine. Check out these pictures. You'll just have to imagine the smell and taste.

Doesn't that look good?!
