Oh yes!

That is under our Christmas tree right this moment!
I'm getting a Cricut Expression for Christmas and I'm very excited!

Anyone heard of/tried Sure Cuts A Lot?  I think I'm going to get that eventually too, but I want to know if it's a good product or not.

Noteworthy

So my friend Courtney is in an all girls A Capella group called Noteworthy (check them out, they're awesome!). They have been chosen by NBC to be on their new show "The Sing Off," premiering Dec. 14.  From what I understood, 8 A Capella groups compete against each other and America decides the winner.
I thought I'd share so, if you decide, you can watch and support Noteworthy too.
Either way, I think it's going to be a fun show!

Here's an article with more details about it

There are two things I want to post:

First off, Danica got her first boo boo yesterday.

You can't see it that well, which is actually really good, because it wasn't that bad of a bump. It only lasted for a few hours and then it was gone.
She was really sad... and so was I!
We were sitting in front of the long mirror in her room and I was holding her by her hands so she could check herself out.  When we were done, I let go of one of her hands (to pick her up) and she sprung forward hitting her head on the frame of the mirror.  Ouch!

Secondly, I bought new brown socks the other day!

That's not all the news I wanted to blog about though.
I really needed new brown socks because they were wearing mighty thin and had holes in the bottom.  So I threw them away, but quickly pulled them out of the trash again.
We have a lot of dresses for Danica and not many pants for her to wear during the winter, so I made knee highs/leggings for Dani out of my socks.  The way I sewed them got rid of the old sole completely... so no more holes!
I think they look really cute on her.  And they'll keep her little legs warm!

The Crazies

Hey!  I think I'm done.  For now.
What??

When I was pregnant, my brain was on something.  (As you may remember me talking about in this post)
I was big on being confused and brainless and I had gotten used to it.  I kept experiencing the dumbfounded-ness and loss for words after I had Danica too.

On Monday, I made a connection and thought, "Hey!  I think I'm done."
No more memory lapses, or tangled words, or putting the toilet paper in the fridge (ok, I never did that.).
Sure, I still am me and so inevitably I'll say/do something crazy (no comments from the peanut gallery), but that's ok because that's normal me.

And this realization all stemmed from Tyler's response, "Hey!  Good memory!"

In the least, it's a step in the right direction, right?

flowers and bows

So I've been talking to a few people about getting together and working on these ------------------------------>

If you're in the Provo area and would like to get together to make them, what would be some ideas of good times to meet?                                                click picture to enlarge

They're super easy and fun!!
And really not expensive.  We could also all pitch in money to save on clips and flowers, so we're not all buying a bunch of supplies.

Let me know what works for you, if you're interested.

Zzzzzz

Danica was chatting away and jumping in her bouncer while watching me do the dishes. She was quiet for like 10 seconds, I looked over, and found her like this. She had fallen asleep! I couldn't believe how fast either.
I moved her, but not before I took some pictures!
When I moved her, I woke her up and she just started chatting away again, so I put her in her swing. Again, like 10 seconds later, she was out. Too funny!

Oh, and yes, she can breathe. You can't tell, but there's lots of space around her nose and mouth.

Halloween and 3 Months

Danica is 3 months old today! I'm not sure how I feel about that. I was just thinking about how I wont be able to dress her in the size 0-3 month clothing soon and it made me sad. She's just growing so fast! I know 3 months isn't old, but it's just crazy how fast time flies and how quickly she develops and learns new things!

We celebrated Halloween on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday we went to Tyler's work where families were invited to trick-or-treat and walk through a haunted house. Danica dressed up like a ballerina. She was really happy. We didn't do the trick-or-treating cause we felt like that was cheating. Haha. We're going to go buy the discounted candy for us.

On Saturday we went to one of Tyler's old coworker's party. It was a lot of fun. We were Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Sweet Pea.
