Blogged-Out

Anyone else getting a little Blogged-out?  Or is it just me?  I've been debating closing ours, but this is a good way for me to keep some sort of journal with easy access to pictures.  I feel like it takes too much time away from spending time with my family and that my posts have just gotten more boring.  But, on the other hand, I think Grandmas enjoy reading about/looking at Danica....  I don't know.  Just thinking...

  1. (Gasp) What? Absolutely not. You are the "Master Blogger" and if you give in to the pressures there is no hope for the rest of us.
Please don't go...please. I would miss you terribly.

  2. i have felt the same way from time to time. the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that i use mine as a journal and an outlet. it is THE only thing i have as a family record, so that keeps me motivated even when i feel like giving up.

    don't go...we'll miss you!

  3. Don't stop blogging, I love reading your blog. Maybe if it's been too much for you, just take a little break. Or blog less often. I will be sad if you stop. Danica is too cute to stop blogging, you have to share her cute little face with us. :)

  4. i get in blog ruts every so often too... i think sometimes we can feel like we need to post something exciting or entertaining all the time, but the truth is that if it is a personal blog for you and your family then you should just post what you want and feel is appropriate... plus i think everyone thinks their own blog can be unexciting... i think your blog is fun and that you are a crafty fun person... i don't think you should close it but it's of course up to you... i don't think you should feel like you have to post something when you don't want to, ya know... it's okay to take breaks/ go days without... i personally like blogging for recording purpose, my first year of marriage i didn't have a blog and don't remember that much... then i got a blog after that and anytime i don't remember details i go back to my blog and check, it can come in handy for remembering special moments :)

  5. I love reading your blog! How else would I know what is happening with your cute little life? I think it's funny that we've kept in touch over the years, too. Ah to be back in high school again. ;) Keep up the blogging even though I slack off a bit now and then.

  6. ya know, i have a pretty boring life. I mean, i love it. i love taking care of Reagan, but that's pretty much mylife so it's not all that interesting. But, as you know, it's good for the journal aspect to write a blog. i want you to know that even thought you might get tired of writing it, i love reading it. i love seeing pictures of danica and of little things that go on in y'alls life. i miss you guys so it's a good way for me to feel a bit closer. it's good fun.

  7. I've been feeling that way. Notice the absence of posts on my blog? I just like reading other people's blogs rather than writing on mine, you know?

  8. I feel ya too! Pretty sure I'm going to end mine soon, or at least take a long break. But yes, it has been good for keeping records. It's definitely easier than hand writing everything! I like your blog, though, and don't think you should quit. Way to go on losing 6 pounds, by the way!

  9. I really like your blog and would miss it if you decided not to keep going with it. However, if you feel that it's taking time away from your family then I would say that would be most important. I usually try to blog while everyone is either out of the house or in bed for the night..... but that's why it only happens about once a month. Good luck!

  10. Oh you can't stop!! I love reading your blog! I know how you feel though- I feel guilty when I don't post for weeks but then it takes way too much time. And I don't even take the time to make my blog look darling like yours!!

  11. I completely agree with everyone else!! In fact, I am always jealous of what cute headers and new designs you put up. I know it can get time consuming so I've tried not to put too many minor details and just write! It is a great way to look back on what's been going on..even the tiniest events. I SO much enjoy your blog and would hate to see it leave!!

  12. Definitely don't close it down, it's how I know what you guys are up to. I'd say just take a little break. You could just post pictures for a while that way Grandmas can still get their fill of Danica cuteness. So I think you should do a little dance class, like the one Naomi took. You'd be great at it!

  13. I'm with ya---BUT I'm too sad to see other people blogs starting to go or think about going, so I'm determined to bring mine back so other people can't use mine as an example of people who don't blog anymore!! Plus, I love the idea. So I'm trying to bring my blog back with a weekly post. KEEP YOURS UP! Your baby girl is so freakin' cute!

  14. Thanks for the support and advice. I obviously didn't stop the blog, but it was good to slow down and sort of take a break from blogging. It really helps to read your comments, so THANKS!
